Description
- R2V 09/1980 > 1996 (Also Suitable for all ignition systems with Hall sensors with 7-Pin ICU. R2V 09/1969 > )
- Simple tool for checking the hall sensors in your ignition trigger unit and adjusting your ignition timing .
Instructions for use :
- Turn off the ignition
- Disconnect the 7 pin ICU from plug (Black box under tank)
- Connect HALLTest to factory electrical harness /ICU plug connection and turn ignition on.
- Rotate the engine in the running direction until the RED LED light on the tester comes on and that should be the S mark on the flywheel . (Adjust trigger unit so light just comes on at S mark on flywheel)
- Remove the HALLTest and reconnect the ICU (Black box under tank) to the factory harness
- The power for this unit is supplied by the motorcycles electrics
